Timothy McCool is a Boston-based artist and educator. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, McCool received his Master’s of Fine Arts from SMFA @ Tufts University. McCool has exhibited his work locally in Massachusetts at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Carroll & Sons Gallery, Montserrat College of Art, and the Essex Art Center, among other locations. He has been the artist in residence at the Boston Center for the Arts, the Studios Program at MASS MoCA, and at the Arteles Creative Center in Finland. He teaches a variety of painting and drawing courses at institutions such as Boston College, the Museum of Fine Arts, and Cambridge Center for Adult Education.
